Grammy Awards 2014 #update

I had to sleep late todae because I did not want to miss the Grammy awards.First of all let's talk about Beyonce and Jayz I was going through my twitter acc and Facebook feeds people saying that wasn't a good perfomAnce huh?!.

Beyonce and Jayz performed their hit song "drunk in love" ,I personally think the perfomAnce was great especially with them two perfoming as a couple.i think that is the most beautiful moment when u sing along with your husband or wife :).

I couldn't help my self but fall inlove with Beyonce's dress...

Beyonce

Her dress and make up all looked great but there is one thing I ddnt love and that is her hair ,she looked like she had spaghetti on her head (I'm sorry Bee) but she looked hot hey:)

Lorde

So when I was watching the Grammys  with my little sister I was shocked when she told me that this girl is 17 years old huh?? I'm sorry thought she was in her 30s .Oh well apparently she is the youngest artist in the world to have 2 Grammys (Dear Myley Grammys dnt come by twerking and acting all ratchet)lol .

Tye Tribbet

I was thinking why don't the Grammys show us gospel artists when they are accepting their awards or at least have one perfomAnce by a gospel artist.Let me stop complaining and congratulate Mr Tye Tribbet. As I heard that he won a Grammy I just started singing his song 'if he did it before he can do it again same God right now '.

Pharrell

Can someone really explain to me why this guy was dressed like this for Grammys ,I mean these were 'GRAMMY AWARDS' not teens choice awards or something and what on earth was in that hat loool.haha congrats on his awards though.

Erica Campbell

She looked beautiful on the red carpet alongside with her daughter Krista Campbell.
Let the saints say Amen!!!!if you do not know this lady she is one of the sisters from Marymary Mrs Erica Campbell.Let me just say it breaks my heart not seeing her with her sister I dnt think I'm a fan of her on her own I love her when she is with Tina Her sister. I guess she has decided to be a solo artist now smh well it's part of life groups break up as well but I'm glad they are sisters :).

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar gave the best perfomAnce in my own opinion and everyone loved it .I had to keep rewinding his perfomAnce because it was really that good.I was asking my self why is he still being put in the category for new comers??his been singing for ages now lol.

A few people that I did not see at the Grammys such as Kanye West,Chris Brown,Lady Gaga,Nicki Minaj,Justin Bieber and others but I can understand for Justin Bierber if I were him too I wouldn't have attended lol as for Kanye maybe he was baby sitting North with Kim lol.

Dont forget to comment and share :)

The beautiful Cynthia Mare

So was going through some Zim songs on YouTube and it was my first time hearing Cynthia Mare's songs I've always heard of her but never knew who she was and todae I came across her on YouTube with her song *Ndai zvaibvira*.

Let me say from the first few minutes I heard the song I couldn't help but drop tears (yh I'm too emotional :().I had to put the song on replay because to me I came out with a message out of it that life is short so we must appreciate people around us and acknowledge them whilst they are still there. The other song I listened to was Hatina Musha ft Zimpraise well done Cynthia u have an amazing voice and good at writing your songs #inspired.

My mentor Vickie Storm

She is a radio presenter ,singer ,song writer ,actress but Most of all she is a Child of God.

Many people todae know her as Vickie Storm but let me take you back from the time I met her 9 years ago when we all used to call her Manko (I'm sure some us still call her that).

#Throwback when I was in Sunday school and she used to be my Favourite aunty (by the way that doesn't mean she is old that was the way we used to call our Sunday school teachers at Victory Fellowship).Aunty Manko as we used to call her she used to teach us how to sing and also dance each time we had concerts at church. One of the best moments I will never forget is when we had a concert and they was a group that was presenting a song taught by Manko and I wasn't part of it but all of a sudden when they were going up the stage she was like  "Sakhie go with them" in my head I was thinking but I didn't rehearse but guess who ended up being the lead singer lool yup me, ok enough about clapping hands for my self.

She has always been my inspiration to be honest I am not trying to get her "gassed" I'm just saying the truth hey.Ok back to 9yrs ago I remember the day I heard she was leaving I was very sad I started crying because I thought I would never see her again and I thought who else is going to mentor me :( I would never forget that day and I don't even want to see the pictures lol I remember we took pictures haha .

Oh well to cut the long story short 2010 I was the happiest girl again and thanks to Facebook I found Manko and now she is in my life to stay !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Singing Groups based in Bulawayo (Zim has Talent)

I always new Zimbabwe had talent ,I recently discovered three groups in Bulawayo that are so gifted in singing.Talk of groups I used to be in a group as well called 'Holy Ghost Choir' but since I came here the group doesn't exist any more and to be honest I really miss it because of the work we had done in the group:( (I always have to involve my personal stories in my articles lol).Back to my story ,here are the following talented groups I discovered....

Vocal Ex

Vocal Ex is a group based in Bulawayo Zimbabwe directed by Eric Moyo ( Idols Africa winner),Mkhululi Bhebhe (Joyous celebration member) and Thembelami Mdlaziba.I just want to say who ever is the uniform coordinator for Vocal Ex woooow #Classique I love it ,the colour combinations are on point well done for that.Vocal wise I've heard them sing when my sister who is part of the group sent me a voice note of them in rehearsal ,my goodness I was blown away (shout out to Noxy). The moment I listened to the voice note the song they were singing stayed in my head I was even singing it at work tjo because it was that beautiful (shout out to Melusi he was the one leading the song) :)

The group also recently hosted their live concert at the City hall in Bulawayo and I have seen a few pictures and I was really impressed with the number of people that supported them in attendance.Well done guys stay #Classique and keep doing what God has called you all to do.

Family Voices

Family Voices is a talented group of brothers with mad vocals *inloveface* I guess you all know how I feel about brothers that can sing hey lol and the other thing I realised they are all tall and  hahaha **ok I will stop being gassed now** haha but I'm just complementing hey.I discovered these guys on YouTube they did a cover of Chris Brown 'with you' just search for them on YouTube trust me you will be blown away like I was.Ghosh!! I haven't even told you guys their names Anywei their names are Melusi ,Tinashe,Bobby,Basil,Brighton,Tina,Luke and Ronald dang!! Boys if u read this you guys can sing!!!!.For more information about Family Voices follow their Facebook page @Family Voices.

Oasis

Oasis is an acapella group of 8 boys who are young with a great passion for music and sharing the gospel through their talent. They are just not a group but also friends as well which makes them strong. Can I talk about their uniform for a second (in my Miss Classique voice) ,I actually like that they are young and they are representing  who they are by mixing swag and class well done boys and hope to see videos of you guys on YouTube soon
For more information follow them on their facebookfan page @Oasis8Byo

It's time we discover more talent in Zim ,lets stay true and also believe in our selves and be a Proud Zimbabwean!!!!!!

My Favourite Zim singers of all times

These are the singers I grew up listening to....I actually do not know why some of them are quiet lately but trust me they gave us mad tunes back in the day of which I personally still listen to the tracks.

Plaxedis Wenyika

I guess you are too young then if you are from Zimbabwe and do not know this Diva .I remember some people back in the day when they would write letters to their girlfriends or boyfriends using her lyrics (lol) ,my fav tune of all times is 'Tisaparadzane' although I guess I was a little girl when that song was released but I would always sing to it word to word hihihihi. The other song I love by Plaxedis is 'Hapana wakandida' OMG!! Me and my friends used to have a dance routine to this song ,we didn't even care about the meaning of the song lol.Although I read on an article that she is back in the music business 'whooppyyyyy!!!!!!' Way to go Plaxedis ....by the way congratulations on your masters in Business Administration.. One more thing I never ask for follow backs lol but hey follow your girl back on Instagram 'hides'.

Sandra Ndebele

You cannot be from Zimbabwe or mostly Bulawayo and not know her ,fine maybe you have forgotten who  she is let me remind you the songs she did 'Malaika, mama we mama, into Yami ngeyakho'.Every little girl (including me) wanted to dance like her some times people like me would copy her dance moves ( I wasn't even doing anything close to what she was doing lol).Sandra Ndebele used to do some killer moves tjo she would even do splits (about that Sandra my mama warned me not to copy you loll),by the way I used to lie to my friends and tell them ,I was related to her lol because she shares same surname with my mum *naughty me*.To be honest it's been ages since I heard anything about her ,I guess she quit singing then ever since she got married I'm just guessing you all.

Sani Makhalima

Ghosh where do I even start from with Sani Makhalima he used to have a voice to die for of which he still does I recently bought his song on iTunes 'jeso ke Morena waka' which he featured artists like Nox,Kudzi Nyakudya and Esther ,you all should get his album it's got nice tracks on it..

Anyway back to Sani Makhalima back in the day lol I have a confession i used to have a crush tjo aayy the key word 'was' haha not now lol I still got mad love for you though Sani Makhalima (I hope my dad won't read This) lol.My fav tunes by him are 'hakuna mumwe' and 'pasina iweh' which Plaxedis Wenyika was featured in ,each time I listen to them tunes I just miss my home tjo (kHumbul'ekhaya eZimbabwe)..Hopefully we will keep hearing more from you Sanii...

Mafriq

Where are these guys? ,why are they silent? Are they still a group? I wish someone would give me answers to these questions .I remember when ZESA would go in the evening me and my friends would go and sit outside and start singing 'ndizvo chete' in turns and the harmonies in there were just magnificent (I kno I'm clapping hands for my self) especially when it gets to that part 'ndatarisa musikana wakanaka wandinoda' that was my part lol( erm I might not be a beast but I can sing in tune).Im sorry to go off topic a bit but just wanted to ask because I am kind behind with this gist lol is Pauline still with Roqui? (im sure you all know him he was in bigbrother the star who sang chidzoka)just asking hey.Speaking of Roqui where is he ? last time I heard he was going to do a collabo with Nigerian superstar Wizkid (unless it was just a rumour) .Back to Mafriq I haven't heard any other song after 'taura chizevezeve' if they have another track somebody introduce me to it.....

Well they are many artistes I grew up listening to in Zim but I couldn't write them all arghh!! (Feeling sleepy) I always blog in the middle of the night because that is the only time that I get since I have work and school but well at least I make time for you all...

Annoying / awkward moments

Hey guys I have been thinking lately ๐Ÿ˜žhave you all been in a position where you are seen walking with a boy or girl in town then u meet your mum's friend or your neighbour and they automatically think you are dating lol (ghosh I dislike people who do that)

Image

Well I personally do not mind when they think that but what totally annoys me is when they call one of my parents and kinda twist what they saw and they will be saying how you were "holding hands" and all of those kinda lies to be honest in my head I will be saying ......๐Ÿ‘‡
